Increase Interactivity in the Classroom with Socrative

By Dr. Gabriela Palis

Socrative is an automatic response system that allows teachers create interactivity in the classroom via smartphones, laptops, and tablets. It does not require additional clickers.
Socrative is easy to install and use, taking a few minutes to set up. Once you have logged in through your smartphone, laptop, or tablet, you will be assigned a room number and prompted to select an activity: a multiple choice, true/false, or short answer question.

At the same time, your students will need to log in with the same room number to be able to receive your questions.
Once the exercises have been completed you will receive an aggregated report, in an Excel file or as a Google spreadsheet.

  1. Thanks for sharing Gaby!

As you know I have already "informaly" tried it and it was thrilling.
It will be much cheaper and feasable to use this software next time I suggest to use clickers in a meeting to enhance interactivity and be told it is out of budget ☺
